My sky glass gen 1 is running UI v2.50.6 and I now have no lag. 🤞🏻 Hopefully it stays this way and I'm not hit with the black screen and random restarts others are unfortunately paying for.

@Tony+Wilde Hi Tony, have you checked that your specific Glass TV has received the latest update.  They are done in batches so you might not yet be on UI version 2.50.6 which would explain why you are still experiencing the lag issues.

I'm now on ui version 2.50.6

and the lag has gone

3 restarts trying to watch the football already this evening ... "there is a technical fault with this channel" ... and then that is displayed on all channels !! 
Cannot understand why an update is sent out that ruins a device that was previously working fine ...

You beat me. Had one restart a few mins before football. 

I had the Please wait while your program loads stuck at the top, then the black screen. 

You can probably say Gen 1 is trying to run whatever the gen 2 is and it's not working.

Yep this is a bug that needs sorting asap . Constant loop . Reset tv . Change a few channels . Then technical problem with channel again .

How's about Sky just fix their **bleep** that we pay over the odds for then we wouldn't have to trawl through stupid forums to get help or find out what's happening. Or how about been able to talk to competent person instead of having to use forums. Why do they think everyone knows how to use forums. Too many companies getting away with sub standard rubbish hardware and software.

I'm on os 37.026.

 

Getting worse having to restart everytime I want to change a tv channel Wint change  either by typing in channel number or via the guide.

 

All Apps work fine.

 

I see there is a potential fix with an update to 50.  That's a big jump. Or have there been 13 updates since mine was last update

  Sky website say latest is 36!!!!

This is the worst fault there has been and there have been a few!

 

I am Gen 1 early adopter
