Removing Sky Cinema from my Sky Glass

I would like to remove Sky Cinema but that is the only package that does not allow me to do this.
It just says 'You are currently unable to make changes to this product online.'

I really do not want to spend hours on the phone to have them take it of.

What can I do?

Re: Removing Sky Cinema from my Sky Glass

Unfortunately it is a phone call to remove Sky cinema.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

I suspect they want to try and persuade you to keep your subscription to CInema.

Don't forget you will also loose your free access to Paramount + (if you watch it).

Adding things to your package is simple. Removing them is not. A phone call to Sky is the only way. I would advise you to have a good reason ready to save time. They won't argue if you say you can no longer afford it.

Re: Removing Sky Cinema from my Sky Glass

The replies above are incorrect, it IS possible to remove Movies (and Sport and anything else) without making a phone call.

I did it just that via the MySky app.

I believe it depends where you are in your subscription cycle. My Sky app won't let me remove. It would require a call into Sky to discuss.

I think you might be right. I removed Sky Cinema via MySky yesterday with no need to call Sky. My renewal date for the Cinema add-on is 22nd of the month. If I try to remove Sports it won't let me - showing the same 'can't make changes online' message as in your image. My renewal for Sports is the 17th month. Maybe some hidden rule as to how close you are to the renewal date of the particular add-on you want to remove 🤔

Re: Removing Sky Cinema from my Sky Glass

As a follow-up to my previous post, I was able to remove Sports via MySky today, with no need to call Sky (wouldn't let me when I tried at the weekend) 👍
