Receiving southern Irish adverts on sky glass in the north east of England

Why am I receiving Irish Republic advertisements on SKY TV I LIVE in the north east of England not in Southern Ireland ???!!!

as far as I can tell without checking all sky channels what I'm seeing  Irish adverts on is the sky sports channels

Sky inject dynamic and personalised ads in most ad breaks if I remember correctly. It's possible that their ad server is seeing you as being in the ROI.

 

What's your ISP? When connected to your WiFi, if you go to this website and scroll down to the IP Address Details bit it will say IP Location. What's yours showing as?
