Reboot required every day

I have had sky glass for about a month now. The first time each day the TV is turned on, we get the menu but no programme on any channel or app will load. A reboot is done then it works. So essentially we have to reboot the tv each day before it will work. Any idea if this is common or if there is a fix or is it a faulty tv?

Hi @AH-SF and welcome to the forum

I had a similar issue when I first got a Glass TV about 3 years ago.  I found the following worked for me: Go into the Settings > Start up & standby menu and make sure that the option for "Networked standby mode" to ON as this will stop your Glass TV losing the network connection when it is in standby.

 

I would also turn OfF the overnight power saving ans it makes little to no difference to your electricity consumption and can help with reliability.

@AH-SF I do still get this error from time to time despite having my settings as detailed earlier. When it happens I just hit the stand by button on my remote and turn it back on straight away.

Turning off the overnight power saving seemed to work.
