Re-subscribing to sky glass

I already have a glass tv and want to re-subscribe to sky services but despite the efforts of the call centre they say they can only offer a competitive price on sky stream making glass tv pointless.

Has anyone else managed to re-subscribe at a competitive rate.

'Competitive' to what?

It's quite possible that current discounts apply to Stream rather than Glass.

When I resubscribed after a brief few months away from Sky they offered me different prices based on an 18 month contract or a 31 day rolling contract. However unlike Q Sky have more of a list price that they can't deviate from as much as they could with Q unless there are specific offers on as @TimmyBGood indicates.

It may also be the agent on the day and could be worth trying again.

Re: Re-subscribing to sky glass

@TimmyBGood  Sky Q or sky stream is under £60 for the package I want with broadband but they can't get close to that to reactivate sky glass even though the agent accepts its better for them not needing to send me any equipment. Very strange and hope that someone can apply some common sense.
