Problems fast forwarding ads when restarting a program

Over the last couple of days, when restarting a program it won't let me fast forward through the ads anymore, saying I have to upgrade to do this.   Never had a problem since getting Sky Glass in 2021.  Is anyone else having this issue please?

Hi @GillBL

No issues here. Do you have ad skipping showing on your account In my sky? Does the skip adds button show on sky content? Have you tried a reboot?

No, I haven't got ad skipping, as far as I am aware I have never had it but not had this problem before.   Will try the reboot.  Not a major issue as such, just a bit of a nuisance if I have missed the first few minutes of the programme so can't catch up before the next program starts.

Thank you.

Hi @GillBL

That may be why. Sky were giving ad skipping free for 2 years when glass first came out. After that it's £5 per month as outlined in that article. If it hasn't auto renewed your functionally will be limited as described in that article.
