Picture freezing all the time tv won't always turn on with remote have to keep switching tv off also when watching itv programme on playlist it won't let me skip ads (I have paid extra to ITV for this )

There are some settings you can change which should help. Go to Settings > start up and standby > turn Networked standby mode ON and turn Overnight power saving OFF.
In terms of skipping ads Sky have their ad skipping ads on. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/ad-skipping-sky-glass
If you are paying for ITVX premium you shouldn't be seeing ads at all for on demand content (obviously you will on live TV), but as ITVX isn't a Sky product you will need to contact ITV for support if this isn't the case.
Re picture freezing, what is your broadband speeds and how is your glass connected? You need 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD. It might be worth trying to connect via ethernet and turning WiFi off in the settings menu.

I have 30 on the WiFi and have tried the Ethernet cable and it still freezes not all the time but quite a lot

On the Sky glass Netflix app, run the speed test there.
You do not have to be logged into the Netflix app to run it.
Start Netflix and pan down to 'Get help' and click on 'check your network'
What speed is it showing?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you are trying ethernet, it is best to turn off the wifi in the settings, as it may will still switch between ethernet and wifi.
Go to Settings>Network>Advanced settings and turn wifi to Off.
