I have my Glass connected to my router via cable but every time the tv is switched off and on again it reactivates the wireless
Can I disable it permanently? I did search but not a lot of info out there.
Cheers

On Stream, which I believe has the same interface.
From HOME scroll down to the bottom line.
Enter SETTINGS then NETWORK > ADVANCED SETTINGS , just toggle the WiFi to OFF

I have this issue with Stream since yesterday..... Even with Wifi off & "Networked standby mode" on, it keeps telling me "No Wifi"....... I have to turn the puck off and on again, then it finds ethernet.
Was there an update?

This can be found in Settings > Start up & Standby menu. If it is off then turn it on as it stops the Stream puck or Glass from losing the network when your system goes into standby mode.
I used to have this message and had to reboot my Glass TV every morning until I changes this setting.

So I've tried every conceivable setting of standby, nostandby, no oowersave etc but the wretched thing still reenables wifi every night
Guess I'll just disable it every day manually.
Why is it that whenever something has the label "smart" it invariably isn't?

@GuyHeaton Dumber than a dumb TV might be a better description 🤣
A factory reset might resolve the issue HOWEVER although most of the time a factory reset will work without any problems, customers should only use the factory reset when told to by Sky as the process can fail and the Glass TV or Stream puck will need to be manually reconnected with your account. Unfortunately this cannot be done by frontline staff over the phone so will have to be referred to a backroom team.
Personally I would not risk it but the choice is yours. The option is in Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates.

The latest update in the comedy Sky story.
After a week of not turning the wifi on at night, for the last 2 nights it has. No other settings have been changed.
