If you are not happy with the service you are receiving from Sky then you should make a formal complaint.

This does sound like an issue that some glass customers are currently experiencing, no help to you though.

Hi @Discodancer

You are telling other subscribers. However Sky don't offer "no adverts" they offer "ad skipping". See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/ad-skipping-sky-glass

However if you don't believe you are getting the service you are paying for, make a formal complaint: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

Re: Pay Pay and Don't Care

@Discodancer The Ad Skipping feature does not work on every app. It's mainly Sky channels, STV player and Channel 4 that you can ad skip on.

As for the freezing/black screen - it could be related to a firmware issue that many, myself included, are experiencing and are awaiting a fix from Sky. There is a possible workaround that involves signing out of the Prime Video app and then restarting the TV by unplugging it for a few minutes. It seems to have reduced the frequency of freezes/black screen for some but not all.

Beyond that, all you can do is raise a formal complaint with Sky.
