@Anonymous same here we are saving a bit more as we opted out of NOW cinema for now (excuse the pun) and will probably dip in to it for a couple of months next winter.
@Anonymous Oh dear... I think you are missing @Anonymous point they are saving £22 and has also said on the Sky prices that it also has deals to be had. NOW is always having deals, nearly all the time. Also I think you will find that Sky will start to push more people into longer term contract on Stream - watch this space.
@Fothergill1 if you do go down the Apple route or similar in the future, I don't think you will be disappointed

Oh yes forgot UHD what was that £6 ish? So that a saving too. As for Sky having more channels, sure but I don't watch the likes of Pick, foreign channels etc.
As I said costs are relative to each person and what you negotiate but however you mix it up there's money to be saved.

@Anonymous if you are going to do a comparison use correct prices and base it on standard pricing for both packages then. I am only paying £11.50 a month for the base package on stream.

@Anonymous @Anonymous Congrats on breaking free (for now!)
Just out of interest, where you both on the monthly subscription for Glass/Stream or an 18 month contract? I moved from Q to Stream so had to restart 18 month contract but would defo cancel it for now if Sky are accepting the service isn't fit for purpose yet (getting very tempted by a new Apple TV box...)

@Anonymous
You keep getting apps confused with platforms!
Now is an app
Apple TV+ is an app
Sky Stream is a platform
Apple TV is a platform
Now carries basically the same "SKY" channels content as stream or Q etc.

@Anonymous @I am fully Aware of the different apps and platforms cheers. Can you point me to where I posted that suggest where I have got them confused. Also FYI Apple TV isn't a platform it's hardware.

It's not. It's an app.
https://www.apple.com/uk/apple-tv-app/
Apple TV 4K is hardware.
Apple TV exists as an app on smart TV's and streaming devices, along with the more limited Apple TV+ app which exists on some platforms like Glass & Stream.

Apple TV is available in HD too. Apple TV is hardware .Apple Tv plus is an app

Apple TV box comes in various iterations over 4 generations not all are 4k. Anyway this is semantics

Apple discontinued the HD model of the Apple TV hardware last year.
Apple TV+ is an app.
Apple TV is also an app.
The difference between the apps is that Apple TV gives access to a user's iTunes library as well as the Apple TV+ service, whereas the Apple TV+ app only gives access to the Apple TV+ content and not the user's iTunes library.
