My sound quality is considerably lacking

The sound quality is considerably lacking. The reality of the television is that it is basically just a very large and expensive monitor screen! For which I wouldn't have a use if I didn't prescribe to sky

Can you elaborate? The sound from Glass TVs is generally considered better than you would get from a standard panel TV/

Welcome to the Sky Community.

 

Do you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Sky Glass TV?  You can check by providing us with the hardware model number from settings > system management

Gen 2 has only been available for a couple of weeks.
