Lost Sky glass remote
I have lost my Sky Glass remote. Bit of a mystery. I have come to the conclusion it has fallen into an armchair and I can't get to it. I contacted Sky chat help and the girl has kindly offered to send out a replacement. In the meantime I am left without TV. I need it to connect the TV. Those remotes on iPhones work with SkyQ but not with Glass. A warning to anyone with Sky Glass TV don't whatever you do lose the remote!

Re: Lost Sky glass remote
Hi @Patsy+2018
Your lucky, strictly sky won't cover the cost of a damage or lost remote. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/damaged-or-lost-sky-glass-remote
In the meantime you can use voice commands. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/voice-control-sky-glass
it's not really any different to loosing a remote for a 'normal tv'.

Re: Lost Sky glass remote
Thanks for the response. Regarding using the hands free voice control do I not have to get to HDMI connection before that? I need the remote for that as I don't get that far without it.

Re: Lost Sky glass remote
You can say to sky glass "hello sky go to hdmi X" and it will change to that input for you.
You definitely have a Sky glass not a sky puck? You've posted in the glass board and referenced glass...

Re: Lost Sky glass remote
Lo and behold I managed to get in! I definitely have a Sky Glass TV but a Sky Q subscription. Therefore I had two remotes. With some difficulty I was able to use the Sky Q remote to get to HMD1 allowing me to connect. Sorry if that's all very confusing.
