Unfortunately this is a side effect of the type of LED backlit VA LCD panel which Sky use in Sky Glass. What you are seeing is the backlight arrays behind the screen. This type of issue is sometimes called DSE or dirty screen effect - where uneven backlighting creates lines or patches on the image which are typically easier to see on large blocks of colour, such as football pitches.
It can affect all LCD TV panels, not just Sky Glass, but the mass-produced nature of Glass means that build quality can vary quite considerably.
If you find it really distracting you could ask for a replacement under warranty but there's no guarantee you'd get a better panel as all Sky Glass TVs are created with the same type.
