Keeping original Netflix with sky glass

Hi,

 

We have recently transferred our account to sky glass and have been setting it up today.  When going through the Netflix app on the glass, we have tried to log into our pre-existing Netflix account, however, it is trying to make us connect Netflix to the sky account.  

We do not want to do this, as we pay for additional households / accounts with Netflix through the same account.  The notification is saying  that if we connect them  the additional households will be removed.  

We were told when upgrading that nothing would change, however that possibly isnt th case.  

We have tried calling, but none of the advisors seem to understand the issue / request.

You need to set up a dummy Netflix account on the Glass TV first - this is the 'free' Netflix subscription that comes with your Sky package. Once you've done this, log out of Netflix and log back in to it with your current Netflix account details. You can then use the app on your Glass TV with your existing account without billing switching to Sky.

That is the case:

 

If you already pay for extra members through an existing Netflix account, when you link your Netflix to your Sky account these extra members will be removed and you’ll no longer be billed for them. Netflix will let them know that they can transfer their profile to a new Netflix account, which will be billed separately
