Just installed sky glass and it's asking us to subscribe to dky channels and U

We installed sky glass yesterday but today it is saying we need to upgrade to  subscribe to all of the sky channels and to the U channels.  Surely these should be included?

Not if you have only subscribed to Sky essentials. You need Sky ultimate for certain Sky and UKTV channels as outlined here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/tv-channel-list-sky-glass

As @mikealanr indicates, the 'Essential TV' bundle for £15pcm has Sky Atlantic, Netflix Standard with Adverts and Discovery+ Basic plus free to air channels.  To get the other subscription content, and in particular the rest of the Sky-branded channels, you'd need to be paying at least £10 a month more for 'Ultimate TV'.

 

Essential TV was described as an 'entry-level TV pack, giving new customers a taste of Sky ' when it launched: it's not intended to be a comprehensive offering.
