Is it worth changing to Sky glass from Sky Q at present?

I love Sky Q and even with all the discounts I'm getting I wonder if it's worth changing to Sky Glass?

Re: Is it worth changing to Sky glass from Sky Q at present?

Depends on if you need a new TV or not.

Some users feel Stream is a better option and use that with a Smart TV.

I personally think Q is the best system but I couldn't have a dish in my last accommodation in the right place to have Q so moved to Glass. As it's my only TV it works fine for me and I've recently bought the Gen 2 set, which has improved picture and sound on the Gen 1.

Do some research on the pros and cons. If you have a lot of devices using the internet at the same time it can affect Glass/Stream performance, which is where Q has a definite advantage.

If given an equal choice I would choose Q over Glass/Stream. It's just that Glass was the only choice at the time for me.

As extra information, connecting Glass via an ethernet cable to the router is also the best way to run Glass as it's more stable than WiFi. So bear that in mind if you decide to use Glass.

If you want to try Glass you do have 31 days to change your mind but there is a £25 return fee to pay. Taking photos/videos before return is advised too.

I don't know what the Stream service is like.
