Illegal to sell SKY GLASS as a working option?

Surely, SURELY, it's not legal to sell an option that only works 30% of the time? I can never get my Glass to 'connect' to the internet, there was me thinking it had a powerful booster in it? When it's connected I get errors with channels until it disconnects itself again. Have to say, this service has significantly decreased my standard of life, it causes so many arguments and so much stress, how I long for the days of SKY Q again .. I WISH I'd be warned before taking it on .. any tips on making it work?

If you are within your 31 day trial period you can phone Sky to cancel the service and revert back to Sky Q.

Whilst I agree that Glass is not perfect I am basically happy with it and have very few problems.  Try changing the "Network standby mode" to ON.  This is found under Start up & standby menu. I had some problems with the network dropping out when I first got Glass but this resolved it. I also have everything else in the start up & standby turned off as they are just gimmicks.

I personally use wi-fi but I am lucky enough to have a fast and stable wi-fi.  It is acknowledged that it is best to connect via an Ethernet cable but this is not always practical (as in my case).  Another option is the use of Powerline adapters which are available for Amazon for about £35.

I also noticed that giving too many remote control inputs too quickly can confuse the Glass system and cause it to lock up.

I hope some of the above helps 🤞

As mentioned above the glass tv struggles if it experiences WiFi jitter

3 methods to tell if your glass unit is defective or your WiFi is signal is not strong enough

1. hardwire directly to your router to see if the issue persists if this is not possible

2. a mesh network to give you a more stable WiFi connection

3. use powerline adapters

With any of these methods turn off WiFi in the settings

if you could try option one temporarily that will give you an idea of where the issue lies
