Ok, so people know I've raised a case with Sky regarding ITV playlists. I've been patient until now but today's call has reached my limit.
i was told today effectively that there is neither a guarantee that:
i personally do not see that as being acceptable and see it as being a serious functional defect in the basic offering of EntertainmentOS. I was told that my view wasn't a defect and that the development team simply see this as being something that ITV have to fix (even though there is nothing to show that the dev team have identified that ITV are at fault in terms of the data being provided to the playlist nor that any escalation has been made to ITV).
Does anyone care about this? If so, then please shout here. If not, then "recording" ITV content on the playlist will NOT work - the choice is yours.

Folks, I'm surprised that no-one is jumping on this? This means that playlists will not work on ITV in any coherent manner and you will have to go into ITVx all the time.

Perhaps not many Glass/Stream users are watching ITV channels, or they are, but doing so live rather than on-demand?
I don't think our household has had any device showing ITV since that last episode of Downton ; )

I suspect that there is now apathy over the shenanigans of the ITV / ITVX App on Sky Glass that most; although not all have had enough and can't be bothered anymore to comment.
I accept there are many out there that are upset and I'm only passing an observation on the final question because, personally, I don't use the ITVX App because there is little to interest me there nor do I use the Playlist so really do not have a view either way.

I get that, this is something critical IMHO and requires raising. If people don't complain about it, then Sky will apparently just sit in the background pointing at ITV.

It amazes me that users in general put up with the CW and Play list it has always been dire!
As for ITVX it's an app that fails on most platforms. Firestick it just plays audio you have to press pause and play to have the video catch up with Apple ITVX has blocked airplay so if you have Homepods you can't use ITVX it just won't work but you can airplay itvx from iphone to Apple TV, explain that one 🙄.
Itvx was sold on it being regular new drama 6 months ahead of general broadcast but that's died a death..... I was a premium subscriber but that's cancelled now.
So as with all these broadcasters and platforms they promise the world and fall very short on delivery.
If you had 100 responders here complaining it will still fall flat on its face, these corporates couldn't give a........ but they do want your money 😉

ITVx is fine - the issue is when you try and add something from ITV to the playlist - there is no coherent order to the shows. On any other channel, the catchup content is shown in date/episode order.

Just found this thread and wanted to add I am also having the same issues. For example The Chase. On Sky Stream playlist you can see a few seasons however in ITVX there is an extra category called 'Latest Episodes'. It's this category that needs adding to Sky Stream playlists so I would say the issue lies squarely with Sky, unless the ITVX api does not include that category for Sky to pick up.
Also, I have the ad skip sub with Sky and ITVX is terrible. I start an episode, skip the intro ads, watch the first segment of the show, and when the ad break comes that skips but goes to a black screen and doesn't do anything. You have to press forward again on the remote to get back to the show and it immediately starts. First time this happened I though the TV had gone off as the screen is pure black
