For the last week everytime I want to turn on my tv it won't work unless I unplug it at the wall and hard reset it. None of the buttons on the remote will turn it on until it's been reset.
The remote works fine and has fresh batteries. It's the TV that's the problem. The red standby light is on but when I press the home button nothing happens. I have to unplug and plug it back in and then the home button turns it on.
Is there a way to stop it from needing a hard reset everytime. It's getting on my nerves now as the plug is not easy to reach and I'm having to unplug and replug in my tv 3 or 4 times a day.

Hi @Philjer
Is this a Gen 2 set or older? It's not normal behaviour and it might be worth getting sky to replace it under warranty.
The only other thing to try is turn OFF overnight power save and turn ON Networked Standby mode in the settings (settings > start up and standby) and see if this makes any difference.
