I have changed the batteries but remote still not working

The batteries run out on my sky glass remote and have replaced them. The remote will still not turn on.

Please help

There is a fault with many remotes.

Take hold of the remote length ways and twist it as you would wringing out a cloth.

This surprisingly works in most cases. If not its a call to sky for a replacement.

If the solution offered by @Anonymous does not work (it did for me) then you could try the method suggested at post 704 of the following link (the whole thread is about faulty remotes):

I suspect these 2 methods are actually curing the same fault but in different ways.

If it still won't work contact Sky and ask them for a replacement remote.  Whilst waiting for the replacement you can use a Sky Q remote if you have one available.

Thank you for your advise @Fothergill1 and @Anonymous  but nothing works at the moment. It is very frustrating. I do have 2 other questions:

1. Can I contact Sky online or do I need to call?

2. How can I ask Sky Glass TV to play or choose a particular show when using voice command?
