I can’t get my volume to turn down on my sky glass

So my sky glass went to go on standby and it told me to lift my remote to continue. I did but also turned the volume up on notch. It then proceeded to turn my volume up max and now I can't turn it down no matter what I try. How do I fix this? I have tried resetting sound, I have turned it off and on again. I even left the tv off for an hour and it's still happening.

@Aimeemcculla90

Have you tried re pairing the remote?

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.

Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.

Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

It might also be worth rebooting your Glass TV by turning it off at the plug socket, waiting 30 seconds and then turning it back on again.  It will take about a minute to reboot.

Lastly if you don't want your Glass to automatically go to standby turn off the option "Auto-standby when no motion detected" in Start up & Standby menu.

Re: I can’t get my volume to turn down on my sky glass

We have a similar issue, where the volume automatically goes up to max and nothing else works apart from the power button.

I have been turning it off as soon as it happens, then turning it back on and pressing the mute button, then turning the volume back up from there.

I can't say I'm too happy though... we seem to have had nothing but problems with this since we had it end of November last year.
For how much you pay for the product each month, is it too much for it to work without all the faults?!

We are also having problems with the Disney+ app too 🙄

Re: I can’t get my volume to turn down on my sky glass

I turned mine off too, then pushed mute after turning it back on. The volume would go straight back to max itself. Crazy!!I had to completely unplugged it for a few hours.
 Paying money to not watch it doesn't make much sense to me 🙈
