I am now on my 2nd sky live camera. The first didn't work at all and neither does the replacement, no light on the camera, no acknowledgement on the television that its connected. I was on the phone to sky for 2 hours trying to sort the first one out but to no avail hence them sending me a replacement. I have a blu-ray player which works in all 3 HDMI ports, so do you think it could be a problem with the other port on the television?

Hi @mikealanr looks like a faulty port. The camera powered up when connected to the phone charger but the phone wouldn't charge via the TV. No sign of the camera in the settings. Thanks for the info.

Sounds like a faulty port is the case, one way to check would be to use external power adapter (usb plug) and see if the camera powers up.
Out of interest is it recognised by the TV at all (can you see the camera serial number in settings?)

@Coopster57 have you reported the issue to Sky and requested a replacement Sky Glass TV?
