How do i speak to someone in the UK to cancel my sky package

everytime i call i go through to a call centre in India and i had a really bad experience so will not deal with these kind of call centres . Can you not speak to anyone in the UK as i want to cancel my broadband my phone and my sky glass. Please can someone from the Uk call me as i have emailed and asked the call centre to put me through to uk and all they say is they cannot and end the call.

@sarah7jacks I'm afraid it's pot luck as to who you speak to depending on the reason for your call. Sky are not the only company to not have UK based call centres. None of them care how frustrating it is to deal with advisors for whom English is their second language. Money trumps good service.

Unfortunatly you are correct ,but i wont deal with them after we were involved in a fraud from one of these calls centre and wiped our bank accounts.

@sarah7jacks Given you want to cancel your service there is no reason for you to give over your bank details to them. It does seem all cancellation calls are put through to an overseas call centre these days. 

Broadband cancellations you can get away with your new provider letting Sky know you are moving and as long as you aren't still in contract shouldn't be a problem. Cancelling Glass would only cancel your viewing package if you aren't in contract and any finance on the TV would still need to be paid.

@sarah7jacks  if you won't deal with overseas agents your options are limited to keep calling until you get through to a uk based agent

thank you have contacted EE and they are doing my broadband and will just call and tell them to cancel , when i called yesterday they asked for my password what ban i was with to prove who i was and i just told them i am ending the call .

Well yes, obviously they need to verify your identity. They're asking for your telephone password, not any other (online) Sky password. They don't need any other information.

@sarah7jacks I don't think it's a big risk to tell them your password on the account not your bank name. They have those details on their screens. I understand your reluctance but so long as they don't ask for account numbers I don't think you need to worry. UK based Sky centres ask for passwords. Doesn't matter where they are based, the UK has its share of scam callers too!

I have had the same.  Firstly with trying to get a new puck for my Sky Stream.  I spoke to 2 spanish sounding people and another Scottish lady.  Not tht the problem was resolved.  We have now changed to Sky Glass, which seems to be better.  But when i phoned this afteroon to 'cancel' the Sky Stream the man was an Indian with a very thick accent.  Very difficult to understand.
