@Kim170981  You're really going to have such a poor experince with those speeds the Glass TV needs 25mbps min for HD & 30mbps for UHD, not also taking into account other users on your broadband who will use it for emaul/browsing facebook etc..

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I have 30 Mbps FTTC broadband wired directly to my puck and have absolutely NO issues in HD.

I was sold it on the basis of it needing 10 Mbps, like many others, before Sky moved the goalposts and increased that to 25.

As I am on my own there are no other devices using a lot of bandwidth and on a speed test,  stream seems to pinch about 7 Mpbs of available bandwidth which is very much in line with their original requirements.

I can use stream in HD on my main TV, Sky Go streaming the same programme on two laptops (full screen via WiFi) and my smartphone without any buffering or loss of quality.

Don't believe all the scare stories, if you have stable broadband, can connect via ethernet and don't have many other devices pinching bandwidth you should be fine.

Glass or Stream via WiFi can be more patchy according to other users.

@Kim170981

My connection is sky superfast and I get about 32mb max to my glass and pucks

it more or less is ok for my household but does strain a bit when the connection drops in the evenings to about 27mb

Hi, I am in the middle of switching from sky broadband to Virgin, as I've had sky glass for six months and with 25-27 mbps it has been a nightmare. I'm hoping with Virgins speeds they are offering things will dramatically improve.

I switched to the m350 a year ago and it's like the shackles were removed 😂
