Hands free voice control will not work on new glass air tv
I have just received a new Sky Glass Air TV to replace Sky streaming via a "puck". I have uninstalled the puck and removed my old TV I have connected the ethernet that comes from the router to the Glass TV and then powered on.
The voice control from the remote is very hit and miss and the hands free ie saying "Hello Glass" does not work. The mic button on the side of the TV is on and the mic setting in "Settings" "Privacy" is turned on.
On my account both Glass and Streaming are shown as "Active" . I guess that this is wrong and should be Glass only.
I have reconnected the remote by pressing buttons 3 and 5 on the remote.
Does the ethernet cable need to be cat6?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Hands free voice control will not work on new glass air tv
Hi @Tuclwell14
if you are having issues with voice control the below may work
Switch tv to standby (either with remote, or with button on side of set)
Switch off at plug
Switch on at plug (no waiting necessary)
When red standby light comes on, press Home button on remote.
43inch Gen 1 and 55 inch Gen 2 Sky Glass & sky live camera 3 Pucks. Virgin media M350 hub 5x. Four sky mobile sims.

Re: Hands free voice control will not work on new glass air tv
- Say "Hello Sky": When your TV is on and you're within range, simply say "Hello Sky" followed by your command.
- State your command: Examples include "Go to TV guide", "Open Netflix", or "Turn on subtitles".
- Be within range: Make sure you are within four meters of your TV for the voice recognition to work properly.
