Glass voice

On my glass tv the hands free voice operation just don't work I have everything turned on but it just doesn't respond.  I does work using my remote but not hands free on the tv. Anyone got any ideas thanks

@Pmc61 When that has happened to. me I have found that a restart of your Glass or Puck resolves it.

 

To do this go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset).  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry when this happens as you start the process.

 

This works if it just a software glitch but obviously will not resolve the issue if your remote has become faulty.  In that case you will need to contact Sky and request a replacement if your Glass is still under warranty (If not Amazon sells them see this LINK)

If the white light is on at the side of the tv then the microphone is switched off.

 

Press it and it will go off and switch the microphone on.

Switch tv to standby (either with remote, or with button on side of set)

Switch off at plug

Switch on at plug (no waiting necessary)

When red standby light comes on, press Home button on remote.
