Glass remote not working properly

Remote has stopped working properly on Glass tv. I can turn the tv on and homepage comes up but after that it freezes. I can use voice activation to select a channel but cannot adjust volume button this function now freezes the frame only! Have tried new batteries and switching tv off and on again but no joy! Have tried to reset handset but not responding.
