Hi everyone,
I posted last year about a random issue where glass will be playing a channel (nothing specific) and at random moments will just jump off the channel to the main menu screen (the screen that you start at to choose TV or apps etc). It was happening so much I started reporting to sky and over the time I've had it I must have called them 6-7 times!
It's not an internet issue and all of the smart 'walk in the room and it turns on' settings are good too.
So finally I asked for a replacement and they did so promptly.
Well.....it's still happening!!!!
Can anyone advise?
It's on latest software, no settings are out of place?? There is literally no obvious reason to me that it's happening. It will do it randomly without reason. You go back to the channel and it plays fine but can and will happen again at any random time.
I'm baffled ?????
Thanks

I have noticed this but kept blaming my wife for sitting in the remote

Hmmm I noticed this last night watching The Menu on Disney the menu popped up the film kept playing. I blamed the cat for stepping on the remote but questioned myself if he was close enough to the remote.
Clicked on the film running and continued watching. Interesting though will look out for this should it happen again.

To be honest I'm so surprised this isn't a major known issue. The call centre staff suggest they don't really know of it.
Can someone at sky provide a firm answer, I'm sick of calling sky and guessing what might be wrong
I wish I had have stayed with Sky Q.
No recording feature.
Can't fast forward Netflix.
Simple issues that just shouldn't be happening.
FIX IT!

If you call Sky they will switch you back to Q outside of 31 days as they know Stream is not ready. I spoke to them yesterday and could switch I had my Stream in September.
You may need to negotiate hard to get the best deal.

I've no idea what Stream is.

What the hell is a puck. Sorry I'm just looking for my TV to work properly. Shouldn't have to go through all of this hassle to get an answer

puck is the extra box they give you for multi room (I.e box you plug into a normal tv )
the puck has the same menu and features as the glass tv
simce October last year you can buy the puck as a standalone box without the tv - this is called sky stream
