Glass 55" Technical fault

Had set for three months and have experienced complete picture freeze accompanied by complete fuzzy image and loud buzzing noise. Occurred  on two occasions. TV does not respond to any remote inputs or even to pressing power button on right hand side. Have to switch off at the wall socket and on again. Will load an image if it happens again but this is not related to programming or internet provision. TV is hardwired to fibre connection. Anyone experienced this? Can Sky offer a reason? Is this a dangerous condition?

Sounds like a faulty set if it keeps reoccurring 

 

you need to call sky for troubleshooting and a possible replacement.........

I've been having the same issues, but today the picture went followed by a red screen and a high pitched pneumatic drill sound, it's frightening when it happens.

I posteda question so hoping someone will have an answer.
