Hi all. Trying to save some pennies and looking at glass as it halves my bill. But hubby plays ps5. Keep reading conflicting reports on it. Some say it cant cope amd others say console gaming is fine but doesnt work on competitive or computer gaming. Dont want to go through the faff of a trial if the answer is already a negative. Thoughts would be welcome

The Glass television does not have a 120Hz refresh rate or an ultra low latency mode: that means it is, at least in theory, 'less good' for gaming than other television models costing the same or less.
If Glass 'halves' your bill, that suggests you are seriously overpaying: perhaps worth noting that broadband is not included in advertised Glass prices.

Unless you really need a new TV, purchased on finance, then there are much better TVs that can be bought for less money.
If you already have Sky Q and it works for you then it may be wiser to ring Sky and renegotiate your contract.
The other option, if your current TV is OK, is Sky Stream which gives you the exact same streaming options as Sky Glass, without having to purchase an over-priced Glass TV.
