Fast forwarding x2, x6, x12 not working.

I can no longer fast forward x2, x6, x12. The screen says it is doing it but it just keeps playing.  I can verbally ask glass to fast forward and can fast forward by continually pressing the fast forward button, but both methods lack the ability to fast forward to the right place.  I have tried turning off at the mains and pairing the remote.  Any new ideas?

I've not seen this issue before ? Have you tried pulling the plug for a good 5 minutes or so ?

Also the below has worked for me when I've lost voice commands .... it's worth a try

Switch tv to standby (either with remote, or with button on side of set)

Switch off at plug

Switch on at plug (no waiting necessary)

When red standby light comes on, press Home button on remote.

@Rachelt1  I know the issue you refer to as I have seen it on my setup occasionally.  It is normally a sign that I need to reboot by puck and to date this has always fixed the problem.  Follow the advice given by @Jporch316 and this will (should) resolve it.
