Extending sky to sunhouse 70 meters from house.
Have sky glass package in house connected to sky wi fi address. Have a sunhouse 70 meters from house. Have run a hard wire cable to sunhouse. This then connects to router with different WiFi address. Have a new TV in sunhouse which uses new wifi address. Have been able to connect with other subscription channels but unable to get sky. Any suggestions.

Re: Extending sky to sunhouse 70 meters from house.
Is the network device in the sun house a default router, a wireless access point or a router running in access point mode?
Is the Sky hardware out there a Stream puck?

Re: Extending sky to sunhouse 70 meters from house.
Hi JWDS,
I am assuming you are tying to use a smart tv in the summer house to connect to your sky services. The TV in the summer house would need a sky stream box connected to it in order to access the sky channels as part of your subscription. The reason you would be able to use the other apps such as netflix or discovery + is although they are supplied through your sky subscription you access this through 3rd party apps even when using your sky glass tv.
In order to access the sky content and channels you would need a whole home subscription with an additional puck. There was a deal on sky website for this where it was half price due to black Friday but im not sure if this is still available. (i only know becaue i took advantage of it myself). Another thing to note is this sky stream box must be connected to the same broadband connection / router that your sky glass tv is connected to this is to keep in terms of your subscription of using it at the same address. As you have run a hardwired cable to the summer house this should not be a problem as you would be still using the same broadband connection that is being used in the main house.
this releates back to what TimmyBGood and is why he has asked is there a sky stream puck in the summer house because as i said before you would need a sky stream puck to access skys content.
hope this helps.
