Error MYSKY_1018 on Sky Glass – Unable to Access Trial Offers
I’m a new customer trying to register for several trial offers on my new Sky Glass Air TV, but most of them show the following error:
“We’ll be back soon – Something went wrong, but we’re working on this. Please try again later. Error: MYSKY_1018”
This issue has been ongoing for a few weeks now, and as a new user, it’s quite frustrating to encounter errors when trying to access basic plan upgrades. I would really appreciate it if Sky could escalate this and provide a resolution soon — everything should be working smoothly from the start.
Thanks!

Re: Error MYSKY_1018 on Sky Glass – Unable to Access Trial Offers
I have the same continual error on Sky Glass trying to access sky shop. Spoke with customer service who didn't have this error code listed and unable to help. Managed to get Discovery+ through Sky apps web pages & then activating on Discovery website. Wasn't clear but got there in the end. Still the same errors on Sky Glass for Sky Shop though.
Sky unable to help apart from the same old reboot scenario, very technical response!!! Switch off at the mains for a few minutes e.g. go away, we don't know ))

SKY error MYSKY1018
As mentioned my problem has been and still is MYSKY 1018 error.
Contacted sky twice, first time wnet through all the details they gave - turn off tv with side button turn off broadband and then re-set, put tv back to factory settings. This has only allowed me to view discovry +.
Second time i contacted sky ,this time the lady much more helpful , she says MYSKY 1018 is a known issue within SKY and they are working on ,whatever that means - duration for repair no idea!
Regards

Re: Error MYSKY_1018 on Sky Glass – Unable to Access Trial Offers
I am a new customer and am having the same problem with discovery plus and paramount plus, very annoying not being able to use these apps especially when you have things you want to watch on them.
I then get regular text messages from sky telling me I need to activate them "I KNOW BUT I CANT"
I contacted sky who told me they have no fix for this error, and I'm strongly considering sending the whole think back and cancelling the contract
very frustrating

Re: Error MYSKY_1018 on Sky Glass – Unable to Access Trial Offers
Same error code for us. We came from Sky Q where we had Disney+. No Disney+ on Sky Glass.
Sky told to add it separately from Sky Shop but we only get error code MYSKY_1018 when we try to access Sky Shop.
Disney+ does not appear to be an option for us on the Sky app or on My Sky.
As an aside we are attached to our old Sky router as there has been a delay with Openreach connecting our fibre to the building so we can't attach to our Sky Fibre router yet - could there be a link between the two issues?
