Discovery plus not working on Sky Glass

I've been a Sky customer for over 13 years & upgraded from Sky Q to Sky Glass in May. Everything works fine except for Discovery Plus. I haven't been able to watch a single show since I setup months ago. . 

I linked my subscription in Sky marketplace once I had Glass up and running. To date, each time I go to Sky marketplace I see the following message:
 

"You've already linked your Sky and Discovery+ accounts

To start watching, open the

Discovery+ app on your TV and select sign in"


Now, when I try to sign into Discovery plus, I will usually use my phone to pick up the QR code, sign in & link my tv with the code provided. I then see the following message on my phone;
 
“You're all set!
You're all set, please return to your device to have unlimited access to the best of discovery+” 
 
It all looks so promising until I try to select a show to watch. I then see this message of doom;
 

"Upgrade to Watch

Upgrade your pass using your mobile phone or desktop browser, then select 'Retry' to start watching"


If  go to the account section on the TV app, the subscription page says I have no current subscriptions. On my phone, I'm presented with a list of paid for options. 

I spoke to Sky a few days after the May setup, who essentially said it should kick in once Discovery plus catches up with my SkyQ account closing & the Sky Glass account opening. However, months later I'm still in the same position!

I spent weeks emailing back & forth with Discovery + support, where I kept going round in circles. I sent over screenshots of the above messages, My Sky account number & the associated email. I also sent my Sky package details to assist.,
 
They just kept asking me the same questions over and over again but offered no solutions or insight of what the issue may be. The game of slopey shoulders from both parties is tiresome! I've made no changes to my account or contact details and I don't know what more I can do to get this working

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!!!

On the sky glass home page  scroll down  to settings, go to the my sky section open  it then go to your  products open it go to app subscriptions and check it is activated  on there is had a similar  issue  after  cancelling  my  tnt sports  subscription and had to activate it on this part of the app

I have been unable to watch discovery for almost 2 years now with a similar issue.

 

sky don't really care and just pretend to look into it and don't communicate. 

I have tried everything with both sky and discovery.

 

the solution lies with sky but they, a massive software company can't seam to find a fix.

they need an option to reset the purchase price n marketplaces but they can't do that!

 

trust me, sky will be no help in solving this
