We have 2 pucks and I use one my parents the other in the same house and just got the profiles update for playlist but confused how it works. Can somebody explain that if say we was watching the same show but I am on episode 1 and my parents on episode 4 how will this effect continue watching?

Profiles seems to be a tracking feature and makes most recently available content easier to find for different members of a household.

That's a real shame and not what I was hoping for it's not really a personalised playlist if you can't keep track of your own place within a TV show playlist.

One thing we've seen with stream and glass is that sky take there time with developments to ensure it works. Nobody likes buggy or rolled back software.

That is very true and it is early days I like the idea of personalised playlist or profiles and I hope one day it is similar to say iplayer or Netflix whose profiles are much more personalised and I think sky stream/glass will get there hopefully sooner rather than later.

Sky just don't get the concept of personalised profiles. What they've got at the moment is a half baked potato. Rival streaming services have been offering this simple feature for over a decade.

Hi @Philldean can you explain a little more as maybe I am missing something as I don't find any issues with my personalised profiles. I have'nt bothered to set any up on the individual App but, depending on your reply, maybe I should consider doing so.

Think they are referring to the fact that the individual profiles can't track different stages in the same show. For example if the same show is being watched under two separate profiles it will show the progress of the last watched episode under both

I have profiles setup for programmes that both my wife and I will watch together , another for programmes only I want to watch and lastly one for programmes that only my wife wants to watch. The way we have these profiles setup the tracking anomaly does not really affect us.
