You can stick them on to the enclosure, certainly.  What you can't expect is power from the USB-C port, which is intended only for the Live camera.

 

 You also won't get any 'interaction' from a Glass HDMI port: only colour-change strips with their own camera for screen detection will work with Glass.

hi i am trying to install govee t1 strip lights to my sky glass but all i am getting a solid red colour on my strip lights .

does that mean that the govee t1 backlight led strips wont work on my tv?

Have you installed the led strip correctly, with the camera looking down at the screen? You can't power anything using the USB-C port on Glass so need to connect the Govee control box to the mains.

the govee box is powered into the mains. it is working on youtube on a floating colour video but its staying stuck on red on movies.

The only USB c port in my house is on my sky glass and I can charge my watch with it so the c port must provide some power functions.

@Daddydaz14 it does but it's onlt recommended that you uyse the Sky Live camera in it as thats what its there for
