Channels freezing

Hi

I'm on Virgin media 350meg and have the Virgin 360 ( streaming and using Wi-Fi  ) downstairs and the Sky pick up stairs ( plugged into router and not Wi-Fi )

I have to say that the Virgin media interface is far better than the sky.one .... anyway my problem is that I keep getting channels freezing and saying please wait to load ... ( which I never get on downstairs 360 even tried when sky puck was saying a prob )

Is this a common prob with these pucks ? Or sky still trying to tweak them ? I was trying these and thinking of going fully over to sky but glad I never now... ( I've also tried all the settings and help info they gave to no joy)  and fed up of resetting all my info etc.. ( plus won't start on all the +1 channels missing etc  lol )

So would apriciate any help here please... I never had much hair to start 🙂

@Shouldibe check that you have wifi networking disabled on the puck if using ethernet. The setting is under Networking on the Advanced page. I would also turn on the option tonsay networked in standby which you will find in the Start up,and Standby section.

Re: Channels freezing

Hi and thank you for reply ... yes both are set to what you advised.I've even done resets and start again, I can see on this forum that there seems to be a prob with pucks and glass ... and getting to the conclusion that sky has thrown these out before fully testing 🤔. and I hate to say it but maybe I need to stay with Virgin media 😤.  ( and look at their puck ? )
This is my first ever experience of sky ( have been cable customer since redifusion )   Plus never had option of anything else without getting a dish ...
