Cannot open remote to change batteries

Tv says batteries very low. Cannot get into remote to change them.

Hold it key down in a hand with the flat of the other hand press and slide the cover in the direction of the arrow.

@Toady do as @bob1234 suggests but the first few times you remove the back it can be very stiff.  Also be aware that the back will only move about 3mm and you can then lift the back off.
