Cannot get back of remote to check that batteries are okay.

I have tried to slide the back of remote to check that all the protective paper has been removed.  I am new to Sky so trying to set up.

The cover can be quite difficult to remove when the remote is new.

Try holding the remote in the palm of one hand, and using the fingers of your other hand, wearing a latex or rubber glove, push the lid in the direction of the arrow embossed on it. It should release by a few millimetres, and you can lift it off.

But you're getting a battery 🔋 sign at the top of ya TV when it's running low.
