You have to expect this from new technology. It takes several years for new technology to generally reach the point where it has few bugs.

id say if the issues and bugs are still there in 18 months then its fair to complain but the platform has only been out for about 2 years and as pointed out by others its very complicated and indeed can be nearly impossible to integrate with all these other third party apps which all operate differently.

Personally I don't have an issue with it. If you don't want to use it you don't have to you can use the continue watching rails in each of the individual apps but personally im

not that bothered of old stuff I ont want to watch is still on the rail and it generally ends up right at the end anyway and I'd have to scroll quite far across to see it.

You can use it to turn on/off things like audio description and subtitles on live channels and Sky on-demand content

And a shortcut to the search function if you can't find what you want using a voice search which doesn't always play nicely with regional accents.

Re: Can you simply delete from continue watching ?

Netflix let you do it from inside the app, prime let you do it from the app on the net, sky stream still make your continue watching list into a monolithic entity! Please sky add a delete continue watching ASAP!

Yes but Netflix and Prime as you mentioned above only display shows from within their own app on their CW rail, whereas Sky's integrates with several third party apps which means it's not quite as straightforward to implement and is likely the main reason we still don't have the functionality.

People really need to stop comparing Skys services directly with individual streaming apps like Netflix or Disney + etc as they are individual services whereas the unique part of Skys othering is that they are a consolidator of third party services (and their own) into one platform simply meaning there will be things that individual apps can do that either Sky won't be able to do, or may be limited in what they can do.

Re: Can you simply delete from continue watching ?

I understand your answer but I think sky have the technical knowledge to come up with a fix for this as it will lose them subscribers. May I just say I've only had stream a week and I do think it's a brilliant service and CW issue is m only gripe.

Re: Can you simply delete from continue watching ?

You can remove any third party app programming from Apple TV's continue watching or watchlist rail (previously Up Next) by a simple press of the remote.  Simply select mark as watched, mark as all watched or delete. So to say Sky can't come up with a solution doesn't seem to hold water if Apple can do it.
