Hi,

I have not been able to loads channel 4 app on my sky glass tv. I have reset it by the mains but no luck.

 

please can you advise?

I don't have an exact date I first noticed it a few weeks back

The 4 sign just keeps spinning 

I have turned it off at the plug refreshed the apps checked for updates nothing is working. This is happening on the sky puck but the app works fine on my sky glass in the living room.

@RJS1 To resolve this I completed a factory reset. This resolved the issue for me months back and have never had anymore issues. I described this process in the 2nd page of these comments.

 

Note that Sky have since advised doing this with their guidance; I did it myself. But; this does obviously reset your Glass tv so you have to sign in to everything again (so knowing your login details...etc is essential). If you are not confident doing this yourself; it may be best to contact Sky and ask for someone from their IT Support team to guide you through the process.

I need all the details I've asked for in my most recent post.  Timestamps are required but if the issue is happening all the time, I'd like you to test it when you can, take a note of the time and tell me the time you tested it if it's still not working.

We have had the problem for a few months but not tried to fix until today: reset apps and TV from settings menu on skyglass and switched off/on at mains socket but to no avail.

I have not been able to access the channel 4 app on my sky glass tv for many weeks, not sure if has ever worked. However it works fine on my sky stream/multi room puck.

I'm having same as above 4 sign just tries to open 

I can watch live channel 4 but not any series I have loaded 

This issue over 2 months 

I have a sky pull in another room and can watch loaded programme on there ? 
I have turned off reset and rest the apps no change done this about 6 times 
look forward to hearing from you

Further back in this string someone mentioned about resetting to factory settings rather than just resetting the apps. I have just done a factory reset and now channel 4 app is working. Just needed to login to other apps again.

Just done factory reset and it's working 

had to relogin hope I haven't got to do it for all of them

Factory reset  seems to be the answer worked for me no further problem
