Hi, I just got a Sky Glass TV, now my question is: Do I still need the Puck for Sky Stream or can I return this?
And the second question is: How do I operated my firestick in Sky Glass?

1. Do you have a Whole Home subscription?
2 The same way as on any TV .... unless if you've turned CEC off ... in which case you'll have to select the HDMI input😉

You don't need the puck for the Sky TV, as the hardware built into the puck is built into the TV.
If you have multiple TVs in your house and wish to watch Sky on another TV other than your Glass, you can connect the Stream puck to that TV. For this to work you will need the Whole Home add-on added to your subscription ( this allows you to have multiple Sky Stream pucks/Glass TVs in one household and watch Sky TV on them all)/

Thanks, yes I have a whole home subscription-trial for now-but don't really need it as I only run 1 tv.
I did plug my firestick in and it goes to HDMI3, but then freezes.

I only run the Glass. So I can return the puck?

You would need to cancel Whole Home first ( and need to give 31 days notice).

Oh, thanks for that. Because I don't need the extra expense of the puck. I shall cancel right now.

Sky should send you prepaid packaging for return of the puck. Make sure you keep a note of the tracking number and obtain proof of postage as the hardware returns procedure is notoriously flaky and you may get charged a non-return fee if you don't keep proof that you sent the puck back.

Thank you so much for that advice. So far there has been no communication regarding sending either the old hub or the puck back.

Be careful ! If you had the puck first (before glass) and cancel whole home then your glass tv may become inactive as the puck will be your primary device.

Oh! I did cancel whole home. Sky is still working thankfully. I mean the puck only supplied what is built into the Glass already, or not?
