It is so frustrating being a profoundly deaf person and rely on subtitles to watch the programmes yet on the new Discovery+ app there are no subtitles or any option available to put them on. So now I can't watch anything on that app due to the lack of accessibility. Safe to say I'm gutted after seeing all the hype over this new app. Sky you should seriously consider how to make it accessible for deaf or hearing impaired people... 😞

The lack of subtitles on the Discovery+ app would be down to Discovery themselves as they own and run this as it is nothing to do with Sky so perhaps it might be worth contacting them about it.

Yeah I had sent a message to Discovery just there. Fingers crossed they'll work on providing this option for people who rely on it.

Some content does have subtitles, you have to invoke the subtitles icon once you play the programme by pressing select as below and if subtitles are available you will get the keyboard icon. Choose that then subtitles are enabled and the app should just play then when next playing a programme that has them.
