update

On recomendation from Apple i bought a new pad, used the Cloud to tranfer and now can't open FB or Messenger apps on it.  I spont an hour and a half with Apple support in which all tests were carried out and his conclusion was it must be the ISP . I have what he did on an email.

I presume Sky is your ISP which is why you have posted here because if it is then check your broadband shield settings as it might need lowering.
