i've recently dug out my old sky+hd and there is no remote. i have tried using an app but i can't connect it as the box has no satellite signal and it needs to connect to devices near me

Are you a Sky Q customer so do you have a dish because if you are then your Sky+ box will not work as it set up for the Q box and not this one.
