Yahoo mail mobile app keeps crashing

Every time I go to open the Yahoo mail mobile app, it keeps crashing.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you running the latest version of the app and is your devices software up to date ?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, latest version as far as I can tell.. and have updated my phone to the latest system updates

Not sure why you're having this problem - I haven't seen other posts reporting it - the most practical solution might be simply to use another mail app, such as Outlook?

My yahoo app is crashing on my ohone today.,but it's okay on my tablet?

Have you checked for updates for it and if it is up to date then have you tried deleting, rebooting your device then installing it again ?

Thanks for replying. I have installed and reinstalled  several times and I tried signing in again and a message came up saying :-

We can't sign you in right now.To prevent unauthorised account access sign in attempts are being blocked for now. Try again in 54 minutes with this device and browser.

Some advice on Google said to clear account and cache and I did it.

My worry now is that I will lose all my emails.

Clearing your cache will not see your emails removed or that you would lose access to them.

Thank you ,that's put my mind at rest.  I also wonder why it's okay on my tablet?
