The username for my sky community is totally wrong, this was not set up by me as this was part of my password which I have now change, I find this shocking that you have set up someone's account like this

Find out moreYou are talking to Sky customers here so none of us have set this up for you as only you can provide the username when you signed up to this forum. If you don't want to use it then logout and then go through the process to setup another one to use, you will need to provide an alternative email address unless you remove it from this ID first and you can do that here:

Surely it should be possible to change a username without having to delete previous account and signing up again ? I would like to change my username to a 'handle' without losing my previous history and there must be Sky community support staff with admin privileges that can complete any security verification required and do this ?

Unfortunately, the platform we use does not support that functionality.
