I have had the same issue I was using Chrome but switched to Opera and it let me log on

App woesn't work and website gives this useless error message "Sorry, there was an error processing your login request (err_unknown)."

of course there is nowehere to report this problem.

Brave, Chrome, Safari, the SKY Sports App - all have the same issue. 

Iconically, when I got the message about there being a response, the first thing that happend was to get an error message telling me I'm unauthorized to read this conversation, despite having started it. Not a lot of things working at the moment...

I'm also fascinated that when I started my post, I got this "you are unique" as in that no one had this topic before and now I can see my post was merged into a thread with an apparent answer that has nothing to do with the actual error. 

What is this?

People now saying they can't even login to their accounts let alone the sky sports app. This really is a useless company run on a shoestring isn't it

Since the sky sports app needed an update, the virginmedia login button hasn't worked. The  virginmedia live chat helper asked if the button said Virginmedia UK but it seems to just say Virginmedia - could that be the issue following the update that they aren't linked correctly? Reeeeally frustrating on a football and F1 day not to have access....!

Seen a few threads of people not being able to login but not sure if it's just virginmedia customers or sky/NOW ones too.

I am a sky customer and I can't watch football from my iPad or iPhone.  I can watch All other sports but football. It says apologies unable to load.  I have a workaround to go via sky go but what's the point of have a sky sports app if I can't watch football?

That exp[lains why i've not been able to login for the last half hour or so.. i'ce tried several different platforms and get the same message. I'm guesssing this is a problem across the board

I have the same.  I've cleared browsing history, re-installed the app and changed browser and it is same error message everytime.  Joke.  The limited times over the week anyone needs to use the app, it is useless!  @skysports  do better.

I was also logged out on both my devices but have got logged back in without any issues.
