Re: Sky TV Guide Website https://www.sky.com/tv-guide/

The app on my phone does not allow the TV Guide to be viewed in "grid" mode so I do not use it. Having just checked the iPad version of the app (following it being updated) I can see teh TV Guide in grid mode (channels down the left and times across the top). For some reason though, none of the BBC channels are included in the "Watch on iPad" selection, only being visible on the Record to Sky Box selection.

@Jonathan_S That is because the BBC prefer you to use iPlayer

BBC channels do show if you have multiscreen & are connected to the SKY Q box

That still doesn't make sense, your Hard Disk can't decide which channels it will record/live pause, it either works for all in your subscription or it doesn't work at all.

The ONLY way it could operate the way you're describing is if the channels it refuses are part of a tier that your subscription is not enabled from.

I've experienced exactly the problem you've encountered and my HDD was dead. Alternatively I've had similar refusal to record or rewind live and the old hold the Back Up button while replugging the power has solved it......that said this was some time ago.

When you say you've tried twice, and please excuse me if I'm telling you what you already know, but perhaps you missed a step.

Follow this from about 19 secs in....

When all the LEDs come on, make sure you get an onscreen fullscreen message on a black screen saying Updating System Software at the top.

Hey everyone,

I notice this thread is starting to get away from the original topic (Sky TV guide website being removed).

To keep this thread on topic for other users,  I would ask that you please create a seperate thread if you wish to discuss something else.

Thanks.

Well done Sky.

I have Sky Sports and TV through NowTV. I can't go to the Sky website to see what's on.

All I want to do is to check and see what's on and when things are repeated so if I miss them, I know when to tune in again. The old tv guide page was excellent for that.

If you don't bring it back, there's really no point in having a sky subscription through NowTV because I simply can't find out what's on when - and you would imagine in 2025 - that would be something you could do.

@JudgeDredd1967 Does the NOW app really not have a schedule? That's strange because all the other Sky TV services have a way of showing what's scheduled

Online Programme Guide Removed?

I had the full online guide bookmarked, but this now seems to have been removed. in favour of efeectively advertising selected broadcast. Has it been moved somewhere obscure that I've been unable to find, or have Sky taken a conscious decision to remove it permaently?

No, just a Now/Next.

@FLC  If you haven't yet found a new online EPG, I can recommend RadioTimes.com, I have been using it for a while now & it works fine. You can tailor it so you only have the channels you want to see. It doesn't have " New " in front of programme titles like the Sky EPG did. Something it does have that Sky didn't is that it lets you know if a programme is a repeat. You need to click on a programme title to find this information. Someone complained about the ads & pop-ups on the site, but I have an ad-blocker which fixes that issue.

I already posted  a reply to you but it seems to have either got stuck or deleted by someone somehow.

Try

https://www.mytelly.co.uk/tv-guide/

You can customise it to follow your Sky channel numbers and effectively get everything you had previously, the only thing lacking for Sky+ users is you can't remote record from it.

I gave this one a try & it's okay. The customisation worked well ( you need to register an account for this ), & it shows programmes in a five- &- a- half- hour block. It also lets you know if a series/season is New. It doesn't say if anything is a repeat, & I had to put my adblocker on pause. If you click on a programme/film to see more details, it opens up a new tab.

I didn't need to register an account, it's unrestricted when I look at it on my phone.
