Sky Sports on Virgin TV

I have a sports subscription with Virgin TV.  I can't watch any channels on my phone or ipad, I get referred to Sky apps. Sky of course tell me I don't have a subscription with them so it's a dead end. Can anyone help?

You need to be asking Virgin this as I presume you need to use their Virgin TV Go app.

Yep they direct me to Sky sports, they can't show sky sports on their app. I have a sky I'd etc but it says I haven't subscribed

If you are not a Sky customer then you can not use the Sky Go app in the same way that I as a Sky customer can't use the Virgin one. However you should be able to watch live sport via the Sky Sports app instead by using your Virgin login as there should be an option to login with your Virgin details.

You're exactly right, thank you. I log into sky sports and there's a 'log in with virgin'  option. It's a very small icon I hadn't noticed before,  thanks for your help!

Thanks for the update. This definitely works on the mobile app. 

Is there anyway to watch Sky Sports on my laptop (as a Virgin customer).

There is a desktop app but I'm not sure there is a Virgin sign in option though.

To ser if there is signin option for you select a live channel here:

You should then be prompted to install the desktop app.
